Description

"Stella Maris" is a well-maintained 1982 Sea Ranger 39 Sundeck Trawler that was prepared for America's Great Loop. The current owner had completed approximately three-quarters of the loop (on other boats) and was working to prepare Stellar Maris for the remaining third. She is being offered for sale only due to health reasons.


Built on the highly regarded C&L hull design, the Sea Ranger 39 is known for its spacious interior with the thought after walkaround queen aft berth, wide walk-around side decks, comfortable liveaboard accommodations, and economical twin diesel operation. With numerous upgrades and major systems improvements already completed, Stella Maris represents an excellent opportunity for cruisers seeking a capable trawler.

  • New aluminum fuel tank installation with new fuel hoses and fittings
  • Aft deck teak removed and replaced with non-skid surface (done by previous owner)

Accommodations


The two-stateroom, two-head layout provides exceptional comfort for extended cruising or full-time living aboard.

Entering the salon, you'll immediately appreciate the open and inviting feel created by large windows, parquet flooring, and a spacious layout. The galley is conveniently located to port, while a large convertible settee sits to starboard.


Aft, the owner's stateroom features the sought-after walk-around queen berth arrangement. Built-in dressers, hanging lockers, nightstands, and a vanity/workstation provide exceptional storage and functionality. The private aft head includes an electric toilet, separate shower/are sit-down tub.


Forward is a generous V-berth stateroom with private head access, abundant storage, and a hanging locker.

Outside, wide walk-around side decks provide safe movement throughout the vessel, while the covered aft deck and flybridge offer excellent entertaining and relaxation spaces.
